After a long time, the Indian Premier League (IPL) is again being played in its old format in which the team will get a chance to play 7 matches at their home ground as well. Meanwhile, in the matches played in Delhi, Mohali, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, a special warning has also been issued for the spectators who go to the stadium and enjoy the match.

During matches in these 4 cities, spectators will not be allowed to carry posters against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) into the stadium. Paytm Insider has the right to sell tickets for home matches of Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings.

Paytm Insider has released a list of banned items regarding match ticket sales that will not be allowed to be taken into the stadium during the match, and one of them is posters related to the CAA and NRC protests. A BCCI official recalled the guidelines for the FIFA World Cup

According to reports regarding this order, it would be taken in consultation with the ticketing partner of the franchise regarding their home matches. However, this is only done in consultation with the BCCI, in which no posters with political or other themes are allowed to be waved on the ground during any sporting event.

In this context, the BCCI official recalled the guidelines of the FIFA World Cup, which was played earlier this year, in which there was a complete ban on anyone carrying any political, religious or any other slogan as per the rules.
